"Blessed in the City"

Deuteronomy 28:3 NIV

Our History

Visions AME Church was founded on February 22, 1994, in the home of Rev. Dr. Carol W. Echols under the guidance of Bishop John Richard Bryant and Presiding Elder Rev. Johnny Edison Jennings. With 25 charter members and less than $1,800, the church quickly launched ministries serving schools, families, and the homeless. Over the years, Visions has hosted youth conferences, health fairs, and co-hosted the 133rd Texas Annual Conference. Today, ministries include partnerships with Habitat for Humanity, Fort Bend Women’s Shelter, Paul Quinn College, and Kathy’s Corner reading initiative. We remain faithful to God’s Kingdom mission.
